FENDER Classic Player Baja Telecaster - Electric Guitar
Fender's Telecaster was the world's first production model solidbody electric guitar. It brought the guitar to the front as a mainstream instrument, with players praising it for its affordable price, trendsetting looks and reliability.
Armed with the Telecaster, artists like Jimmy Page and Keith Richards went on to shape the very history of rock 'n' roll, and countless blues and country music legends have wielded Teceasters too. Vintage and modern collide in this Classic series Telecaster, designed by the Fender Custom Shop Master Builders.
At a casual glance, the Classic Player Baja looks much like a regular Classic 50s Tele, but on closer examination, new special features come to the fore. These include a soft V-shaped neck, custom pickups (a Twisted Tele in the neck and a Broadcaster in the bridge) with custom wiring, four-way switching, and vintage hardware including knurled chrome knobs. The result of direct collaboration between the Custom Shop and Fender’s top notch Mexico factory, this is your chance to own a Telecaster with Custom Shop features at a modest price.
